Maybe this company ought to replace Truck 2's siren with both the Q2B and the Whelen secondary siren, or maybe instead of the Whelen secondary siren, the classic Powercall. Perhaps a GE Powercall would work.

exactly the point i was trying to make...the eq as a primary sounds horrible...especially if it is used outside of the standard Q-Wail, like the hi-lo and all that other jazz that they come with...

Now i have to disagree with you on that one, Personally I think the EQ2B is the best simulated mechanical siren on the market today. BUT, I do not, by any means think they should be on firetrucks. Firetrucks should have real Q's. I should note that the new engines and ladders this dept. just bought do have Q2B's and a Whelen Secondary siren. So this Dept. is learning.
