A patron's view of the Carousel ride at the Milhous Collection. Beautifully restored and in pristine condition, as is everything else at Milhous.

  • No, it's not open to the public, it's by invitation only, and is occasionally made available for the benefit of non-profit charities and collectors clubs.

    You could try contacting them:

    Milhous Group

    791 Park of Commerce Drive

    Boca Raton

    Florida 33487

    Phone: 561.988.2113

    Fax: 561.998.2114

  • Please tell me you also recorded some of the other organs in this wonderful collection!

  • Yes I did, but they're mostly short clips, as we were limited for time and in some there is speech over them as an explanation was being given.

I've just uploaded the big Mortier and I'll try to find time to put a few more on.

  • Is the Milhous collection open to the public or anything? A Google search for it turns up nothing.

  • No. See above.

  • I remeber seeing the Carousel the first time i was there when they open those doors it was like I died and went to heaven Me myself I own 7 player pianos and 3 of them are nickelodions but the Millhous has a breath taking collection of them

  • @whoisthisguy724 Actually, this sounds like Dorney's 153!

  • @anglerfly Believe me, it's definitely a 153! This 153 sounds a lot like the one at Kennywood, actually...

  • Wow, that organ sounds fantastic! No snare though? That's interesting.

  • @wurlitzerwilly I think its an artizan C with a 153 facade. I dont understand why teh 153 sounds like artizan C
