Vitrification does almost no damage to the tissue, itself. What "future" are you talking about? A couple of months? Without dropping the body temperature to achieve suspended animation the cells will grow old and die. Please read up a little on the topic. You admitted your experience was uneducated. That's the first step. Learn more. You can become something great if you do.

In my uneducated experience, freezing and antifreeze would do far more damage than some prolonged life support designed specifically for the purpose of reviving the man/woman in the future!

Decay will still occur. Muscles will break down, brain activity will plummet. Life support just prolongs the dying process. Cryonics extends it indefinitely.

Wouldn't it be much more advisable too keep someone on life support for the tame it takes for science to progress instead of freezing them?

Death isn't the worst thing, being blind and deaf would be FAR worse. It's sometimes easier to die than live!

that's not at all what I meant. the world's overpopulation causes people to live in places where there is higher risk of hurricanes, earthquakes etc. it has nothing to do with disasters finding the people.

english isn't my first language and my previous comment didn't really sound right now I read it again. lol

Our planet has experienced tsunamis, earthquakes and hurricanes for billions of years. They didn't start to happen on our watch; they just happen to get in the way of them. The same goes for asteroid and comet impacts. When a comet like Shoemaker-Levy 9 strikes the planet Jupiter, does that show that nature intends to punish the inhabitants of Jupiter?
