@paddypatch Pump your arms at a 90 degree angle as fast as u possibly can when running and achieve a full range of motion with your arms and your legs follow you are now at top speed.

he lands on his whole foot, i thought sprints consist of running on ur toes or top of ur foot :S

Sometimes I have dreams when I'm running that fast (slow motion). I hate that,.

once you have reached your top speed what is the optimal angle at which you have to lean into your run??? where is the plant foot ideally supposed to land in relation to the hips and should the leg be fully extended at the point of impact? my questions stem from look at the middle of the video and comparing it to the end when i assume he is decelerating.....

@paddypatch check out charliefrancis.comYou want a slight lean at max speed. the foot should land directly under the hips and you want full ext at impact.

@chris6878 @chris6878 is that also why toward the end of the clip it looks like his trail foot is slightly further back and not directly under his hips and that his hips look like they start to slightly rotate forward (clockwise in this video) as he slows down??? when i was running i always had trouble with killing my momentum once i got to my max speed and was fully upright. it often felt like even though my legs where turning over i wasn't able to transfer my force forward.

@paddypatch dont forget he wasnt all out in this video. He was running in flats so his for will not be that perfect. once you are in full flight it may not feel like you are running fast but u are. YOu should feel like you are applying power it should just come natural as you get stronger thru plyos weights and stuff.

I noticed while running you land on the outer side of your feet, is that just naturally happening or purposely? Just curious and learning...
