Ojibwe Language

Gaa'iin maashi n'boontaasiimi Anishnaabemowin ankemaageyaang. (Not yet we are not quitting speaking Anishinaabemowin we are passing it on). The University of Michigan produced a show to highlight their pride in the U of M Anishinaabe Language program and local native community.

I attended U of M for 4 years and this class was never offered once.

@vfire27 As I'm sure all people at one point are uncivilized, though yes, they are losing their way, drinking, doing drugs, many of them deny it but its true, i know it because my sister and my whole blood related family is like that, its saddening, we are described as a peaceful people, but I don't know about that anymore. Though some native americans are nice :)

Grr....Sometimes I just want to say "DAMN you US Government!! >:O" Ugh it makes me so angry when I see the anishinaabe being all americanized, when they were already americanized, because "WE WERE HERE FIRST!!!".......*HUFF!*.......­...srry haha, seeing this always gets me fired up o.o
