  • she had such a sad life...

  • Why don't they make movies on such monarchs? I mean, I am tired of watching , with all respects, about Elizabeth I, Victoria and so on. The last movie that I found great on the monarchy was "The Queen" starring Helen Mirren!

  • @Camouflage16 cuz England matters

  • @Arnieluvsshred91 It would be very strange to be a "fat housewife" in Ireland sir. However, Queen Victoria also had the plumpness to her being it is said due to arthritis but more seriously, it was thought that the rheumatoid arthritis may have also blended with "scleroderma". It is a condition of where the kidneys fail and as the body accumulates fluids heart failure. Queen Mary is said to have died, according to the physician, "death due to a breakdown in all organs." Her skin was painful.

  • why doesn't he do some Scottish history I mean his last name is Stuart what the hell

  • She only ordered the murder of her brother who was in fact the REAL King........

  • I love Starkey's view on her, stating that she was a "fat housewife" lol! However "constitutional" as she was, Anne had a powerful monarchy due to her finances. The last woman to rule on the English throne before Anne was Elizabeth I. There was no way Elizabeth could have lead a foreign policy like Anne could, nor lead a war like that of the Spanish Succession. Having said that, Elizabeth had ambition, something Anne didn't.

  • Yes she had a sad life but she had joys as well remember she had a son(even thoe he only became 10),as well as a husband who doted on her and never was unfaithful to her, remember most consorts and kings did have mistresses at that time like William the 3,james the 2 ect
