Launching of Centennial Forest last July 14, 2008 in UPV Miagao Campus led by Beta Sigma Fraternity with support from other sectors led by Sigma Beta Sorority.
The CENFOR is a joint undertaking of the University of the Philippines and the Beta Sigma Fraternity. It is a tree planting and maintenance project in the campus of UPV Miagao, Iloilo.
As a project, it seeks to promote environmental proactiveness among the students and community and increase awareness of the importance of forest in our lives.

Thanks to those who extended their support, big or small, in kind or in sweat, here or abroad. Whats important is that we have already planted 1,500 trees and growing them. In 2009, another set of seedlings will be planted with the onset of rainy season with the same number of trees as minimum target. Thinking global but acting local, again, lets do our individual part and collectively realize the vision for CENFOR!
