how big is that drill bit?

If I missed the reason for why to begin the bore in reverse, I apologize, but could you expound on that? I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the physics of power tools. Thanks.

hats off to you Jason. You are Very meticulous and good at what you do!! I'd be proud to have you do any type of work for me..Keep up the good work.. I'm playing a mike campbell duesenberg now, but am looking into building a twangy sounding tele, and think Warmoth will be the way I will go!
Do you have to worry about countersink and counterbore if the neck it unfinished? It's only finish is an oil based sealer.

@MitchRulzWorld Probably not as much no, but I still tend to countersink slightly on holes going into unfinished wood though.

Great job - but at 9:48 it syas "soap" will work instead of slide ease. I have many people tell me to never use soap, because it attratcs moisture and could cause your screw to rust.

@bkerwood42 That could be true that soap draws moisture but I wouldn't worry about it. The kind of screws we use for guitar assembly are usually plated steel and the plating is highly resistant to corrosion. If you're still concerned about the soap, and can't find the slideez I suppose wax could be used as instead.

@tc5525 Thank you for the input. Go ahead and assemble guitars as you see fit, I'll do the same.
