Jan 1969. Shareholder meeting News of the World.

Murdoch owns the Times and The Sunday Times, along with The Sun. He used to own the News of the World but this closed down following the phone hacking scandal.

  • The man you see at 13 secs isn't Rupert Murdoch, it's Robert Maxwell. He was another newspaper proprietor who eventually died in disgrace under mysterious circumstances after embezzling huge amounts of money. He was a powerful man who promoted his own wealth by lying, and doubtless felt right at home as a News International stockholder.

  • The man we see here at 13 secs. as Rupert Murdoch is NOT the same person we see currently portraying him.

Will the real Mur doc h please stand up?
