Any chance you know how to do this with a wireless stick internet instead of a lan connection?

You just changed my life. I've had a MacBook Pro for almost a year and a half now and an iPad 1 for almost the same reason and was never aware that I could use my laptop to create a HotSpot and then run my iPad 1 with it. Thanks ever so much.
