Audible Disease SSASB Circuit Bent

The Audible Disease SSASB was originally a Sesame Street All Star Band™ device but has been modified to bring much sonic pain to kids and adults that are still kids at heart. Join your friends Smelmo, Big Turd, Krak Monster, Burnt and Squirmy for a glitchy good time! Control the speed of the sound with the knob and the body contact. Dial in surreal dilapidated sounds with the 3 bend switches. Loop you least favorite sounds with the loop switch. Also has a RCA out jack for output to amps or for further processing of the mangled sounds. You can switch the output between the internal speaker and the output jack. Kill switch is also there because the loop switch gets out of hand sometimes causing Smelmo and friends to die. The artwork overlay has been changed to reflect the true feelings of these lovable characters.

NICE! I'm loving that you scanned and tweked the original character art. Brilliant idea. What were the boards like underneath? Specifically, was the keys themselves on one of those membrane button boards, seperate from the main board (connected with a ribbon cable) like most keyboards? I'm interested in rehousing a keyboard into a guitar (with the keys where the fretboard is and the body of the guitar holding the pots and switches) and this looks like a rad candidate if the boards are seperated

I used to have this toy. Mine's was yellow. That buzzing sound occurred won mine when the batteries were really diing on it.
