No it's not odd at all.
"Snow of the Sahara" = Sand
Sand is used to measure time with a hourglass.
You see it's quite brilliant.
This is the best commercial ever. Always got me in a good mood when I heard it.

That's a nice idea, but it's "Snow ON The Sahara" and in the song it's not a symbol.
Maybe the song should just be emotional, so that the audience likes it and remembers the commercial.

Why can't more adverts today be as beautiful as this? Yes, beautiful. it is obvious that a lot of thought went into it, unlike much of the crap put on our tvs in order to sell crap.
