Hmm, a few key differences: they aren't trying to destroy our way of life, they aren't deliberately going after us, and they have benefits that outweigh the risk (pollination, honey etc). You're probably right about Iran though, it could get very ugly, but then again, do you understand the concept of appeasement? Might it be even worse if we don't do anything until it's too late? That is a huge assumption to make. I doubt we will, at most bomb the chemical facilities so rebels can't get ahold of it.
