@LedZeppelin13k7 109r all the way. i wanted that one but ended up with the m90. only difference for me is the motor size and the price but same comfortable ride.

that sounds freakin' AWESOME!!!!!

I own a 2007 M109R and all I can say is WOW its a freaking blast to ride!
-
@manny0k, Can you tell me which supertrapp it is? It looks like the universal with the 3 1/2 inch inlet? Thanks.

@Rezaroth I actually bought a triumph rocket 3. I test rode all three bikes. I didn't like the seating position of the m109r. I'm not exactly tall, I'm 5'7" and it just felt like my legs were spread too far apart. It also rode a bit stiff like you said. The vrod was awesome and I really liked it, it handled great and its not too wide but the deciding factor between it and the triumph was power. The triumph also was the most comfortable to ride; the vrod vibrated alot. I'm happy with the purchase

I have an m109r and the suspension is a bit rough, also the seat made of compressed something and makes you feel strange feeling when riding for long times, kinda like a sport bike. I had a sport bike before and I think I know what you mean :)

@manny0k 11.6, quite respectable. I've only been able to get 12.4 although we're at pretty high altitude in Idaho. I agree, they're not abusing that thing, it's just hitting the rev limiter. Nice bike.

@hayabusa1974 I'M WITH YOU MATE THAT IS ABUS....IF THAT WAS MY BIKE THIS GUY WOULD BE ON HIS ASS :(
-
Yeah the look from the tech was priceless. I like the comment from MrJtr1888 that it sounds like it would eat your entire family. I run the scorpion tips on mine and yes it would eat your family!
Then its just you and your bike;)
Its kind of like owning Stephen Kings 58 Plymouth Furry (Christine). The bike actually owns you...your just along for the ride.

I love when the dyno bloke turns around after the first run and gives the look to say " that much", well done.
Custom made stainless steel header pipes with a Supertrapp 5 inch muffler.. The stuff blowing out is some fibreglass which was wrapped around the dyno sniffer probe tube to avoid scratching the alloy end cap

i cant decide...a m109, a triumph rocket III, or a vrod. I'm used to sport bikes. I've owned 3 ducatis since I was 16 but I'm in the Marines and need a more comfortable but powerful ride for a ride back home....which one do you recommend?

It's hard to say mate. I haven't ridden a V-Rod or a Rocket III but personally I like the looks of the M109 better. V-rods have a very small fuel tank but they ride pretty awesome I'm told. Try test riding all of them and see what's best to you.. good luck!

You're retarded! A dyno tune is to get the correct AFR throughout the rev range in all the throttle positions which in turn results HP gains. These figures are consistent to all other M109's with similar mods around the world. but you should know all that being an "expert"

Sorry Fonz, you're comparing a Vtwin which revs to 7500 RPM to an Inline 4 which revs to 11000 rpm. Bigger displacement generally gives more torque but the lower RPM Kills any chance of comparable horepower.

This video is an example of dyno guys abusing the shit out of some poor dudes machine.
Pefect way to bust the drive line. Watch the rear wheel shudder..ummm hellooo..
I would be highly pissed if you did that to my machine.

Don't worry dude... This is my machine and it now had a 10 inch rear wheel with a 300 Metz. Had it at the drags a couple of times, Rev crap out of it and dump the clutch and it launches harder than my Busa without wheelstanding... much.. heheI think I'm abusing it fasr more than the wheel shudder on the dyno. Pulled 11.6 on the 1/4 but it does weigh 350kg's.
Torque is 118.4 lb-ft
