@resimadami He wrote this song about Patti D'Arbanville, his girlfriend, who he was missing a lot when had to leave for "only" one month for her job. When he sings she's dead, it's an image, she was not, he sings like she's dead to expose the pain in his heart, he was loving and missing her very much. When they broke, about a year later, he wrote the song "Wild World".
