  • While the band may be louder than most, I doubt that the tax bureaucracy would grasp the extra effort involved in your achieving that volume. Besides, unless you can show that petroleum-powered guitarists are allowed a similar deduction, your argument would prove moot. Tax consultant Mr. B may have very different advice to offer however.
