How to make a drag-and-drop (dress-up) game in Flash.

The code for the movie clip in order to be dragged:

on(press){
startdrag("");
}
on(release){
stopDrag();
}

To explain the code: when you start to click the object, the object will drag along with the cursor, and when you release the mouse button, it will stop dragging.

make SURE you right click - convert to symbol, and it is a MOVIE CLIP.

Is there anyway to, once the "hat" is in place for it to lock into position? So once your image is complete it is exactly correct?

hm..Ill have to work on a code for that. There must be some kind of grid for the hat to "snap to". I have to figure out how to do that first :/

double-click the movie clip you made, then just make a new frame inside the movie clip :)

I wanted to know if I could drag something (like an arm), but with a fixed point ?

I want to just move the arm of a character and then it returns to its place when it is loose. Do you know how I could do that ?
