FFXI - "United"

"United" is a great movie assembled by one of the many creative folks in the FFXI community. It has a nice story element, and a great score to which many of the scenes are synchronized. I had searched for this on YouTube, but couldn't find it - so I decided to upload it myself! It's a personal favorite. Enjoy!

Anyway I'm on indefinite hiatus from FFXI. Got DRG to 75, did Dynamis, Assault and Einherjar; got Sky access. Honestly, it was kinda anti-climactic. It's fun stuff, but the whole deal of scheduling 3-4 nights a week around it sorta kills it. I understand the need to do coordinate like that when many others involved. I just can't be that "regimented" and enjoy it. Feels more like an obligation, than a game. -shrug-

I partially agree with ya there. I think the beauty of the game is in its design, depth and attention to detail. The players - except on somewhat rare occasion - tend to bring it down more than anything. There's a lot of greedy, self-centered people in FFIX, unfortunately, who are not at all into the spirit of the game, but only interested in bettering themselves; seeing others as mere stepping stones to get them what they want. That, to me, is FFXI's, and its community's, biggest scar.

@lupine73 hello, i worked on this movie with Aladora and Edyn (i'm the Abriael in the credits that directed the voice work and the mixing), Edyn composed and played the score for this movie herself, and being an original score done just for this, isn't available anywhere else unfortunately :D

final fantasy is off the charts when it comes to style and good community pple help u out alot more than pple on WoW. when i started pple who couldve used their time elsewhere took that time to show me around vanadiel. thx to all of them and long live FINAL FANTASY XI!!
