Me playing a cover of "Rock You Like A Hurricane" by Scorpions on my Squier by Fender Affinity Series Precision Bass. This is actually a remake of the first such video I ever attempted. I recorded it right on Facebook, but the audio was really crappy. This version was recorded using iMovie, and it came much better in the sound department. The sunglasses you see me wearing are just for visual effect.
Song is (c) Universal Records.

  • u a phookin nerd

  • Hi, please for the good of your future playing, please get lessons. Here's one little tip: Plant your thumb on your right hand to the body of bass (Eg. On top of your pick up). This will increase your plucking strength and will also keep the sound of your notes consistent. Keep practicing :)

  • @playingbass45 you don't have to say anything to that stupid guy...your playing is good and you can wear whatever you want the way you want...it's his problem if he doesn't like it!

  • I wasn't wearing jean shorts, you ignorant bastard. Those were jean pants. It wasn't warm enough for shorts at that time. And if a shirt has too much length to it, I leave it out.

You're really starting to piss me off, you know that. I'm reporting you if you pull this shit again and hoping your account gets suspended.

  • First of all, I am no geek, you dumbass. Second of all, it's not a fast song. And third, one more snide remark like this and I'll bust your balls! Assuming you have any.

  • First, your technique just needs some more heart. Second, don't insult your commenters, they're your source of criticism. How are you ever going to get good if you don't know what you're doing wrong?
