  • She is correct...shaving does nothing to hair growth except cut the hair shaft off, but if you do pull the hair out of the follicle this will stimulate the growth turning vellus hair into accelerated vellus/terminal or deep terminal. Hormones play a major role in the growth of hair especially during puberty and even medication/stress/irritations/pregnancy/family tendency of hair growth etc can also affect hair growth.

    So it's not BULLSHIT!

  • bullshit... ive waxed my whole life... and my hair became thinner and less grows, and takes longer to grow. I shaved once my bikini area it grew thicker, much faster.

  • yes it is true. i was having lazer treatment for my upper lip and chin and with lazer you have to shave. i was never hairy on my chin don't know why i ever did it, but after having lazer treatment the hair grew longer and darker it was so obvious it was embarrassing and that is due to shaving. so now im having electrolysis treatmen.

  • thats actually not true they feel like that because your cutting hair at widest point.

  • shaving does so make your hairs worse..they grow longer and darker!!

  • Hair is a pain! I've suffered for a while now. I saw the NoNo! on 'gratismakeupsamples' - (the offer may still be on), bargain! VERY happy with my little NoNo! Couldnt ask for better :)

  • no it doesnt

  • sorry, but you are wrong. i am a certified electrologist for over 10 years, i studied hair removal on an ongoing basis and shaving does stimulate hair growth.
