Wii in Black 2 (i-case and decal installation)

The decals and i-case came from: www.decalgirl.com , an online store dedicated to selling cases and decals for such purposes. The case was $35 and its color is "black knight". The decal was "blue giant" cost $15.

As stated in the video, I highly recommend you visit the following site if you do intend to change the case on your Wii, as knowing which screws to unscrew is very important. The site I used, and found incredibly detailed and useful is: http://xcm.cc/how_to_install_the_i_case.page.1.htm

Do note there are multiple pages that cover not only how to take apart the system, but how to re-assemble it.

The entire process took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes (not including a minor case problem which took me another hour and 30 minutes to figure out). I said it in the video, and I'll say it again. Opening the Wii case for any purpose, whether to change it or not, voids all warranty and could result in a damaged console. If you have never taken apart electronics before, or are not familiar with them, this operation may not be for you. However, the process (although long) is mainly a screw-unscrew, and plug-unplug process making it rather simple with the aid of the website listed above.

yes, you have to take apart the entire wii to do a case installation.

Well, you could buy the black decal for $15.00 and stick it on. Not quite as good as a case change, but it would suffice. I do not recommend spray painting it.

Hey, I was wondering if the Wii had one of those void stickers that break or are impossible to put back on if you take apart your Wii.

It's rather hard to know unless someone knew what to look for (besides the black case of course). No there isn't a warranty sticker or anything, but most retail stores would take it back no questions asked anyway. However, if you were honest you would accept the loss yourself.

whats the point of replacing the white case with a nice black case, but then sticking a bunch of black stickers covering ALL of your hard work? why not just do the decals by themselves?
