This is a test run of my homebuilt dive hookah...since you can't dredge in B.C. thought I'd try my hand at underwater sniping

  • pressure gauge should be downstream of the valve.....wcb

  • @pndrgrl62 thanx ...wouldn't want the valve to accidentally get turned off...and still show the diver had air on the gauge...although the guy cursing on the surface at the end of the airline might be a good indication of the situation lol

  • Hi where did you get the air tank ? how many gals is it and is it aluim or stainless steel ? how much did the tank cost ??? Where did you get the floats under the unit ? E-Mail me with your answer to justerwilliam@yahoo.com Thanks, Bill J.

  • Hi execelent setup....i would leave evrything just as it is...pvc is no good unless you make a support for it even then it will eventually crack from vibration...the only thing you should do to this setup is take the key ring off the pressure valve...at some time when it blows off the key ring will get hook,d on you snorkel and leave you with no air!...this also happens with the T80,s.

    Good luck.

  • Great system; though, kight I suggest foregoing the air supply hose in favor of a snorkle pipe; say a 4 foot length of PVC pipe ran verticaly off the intake and capped with 2 90 degree elbows to put a u shaped bend at the top which will allow for air to be taken in with out worrying about anything falling in or taking in water. Let alone the intake pipe falling down or into the water!

  • Looks nice. How does it float? As long as it is not top heavy and flip. You could probably leave it on the bank.

  • Nice work! So are you selling these units? Would be great on a small sailboat!
