Dolly first experienced psychosis when she was a teenager. This continued into her adult life. Her doctor prescribed medication, but it wasn't effective, and she was not offered talking therapy treatment.

In this video Dolly talks frankly about her experience of psychosis and how cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) helped turn her life around.

"Psychological therapies gave me my life back. One of the most important things for those experiencing mental distress is to be given a voice."
