Let's Play Battle Los Angeles

This will be part everything of this LP, since it's the entire game. Let's save America, or, um, whatever we're doing here.

I'm testing a new headset here (Logitech G35), so the audio might need a little fine-tuning (I especially have to get used to the rather snug earpieces that make it hard to figure out how loudly I'm talking), and also I've got a cold coming on so my voice might need some fine-tuning too. Still, enjoy.

wow. that's kinda sad, the rocket launcher has the exact same caution sign that halo has on its rocket launcher

Well, that's because Halo copied it from the real AT4. Though the one here is in completely the wrong place. Google AT4, the second image (FAS dot org) will show you where it should be.

Aside from the Flash cutscenes, is it wrong to say this game seems to have more effort put into it then either Homefront or Turning Point? The graphics seem much more realistic, and the walk cycles of the soldiers don't fuck up.

I think this must be the engine of some other game being used to hammer out this during a weekend; I'd actually rank it lower than both, Homefront doesn't have this one's shoddy hit detection and Turning Point is much better at being creatively awful. I'd give this a couple of points over Homefront, mind; it doesn't have a basic pistol, the fire effects are better, and the subtitles are just about readable in standard def unlike Homefront's loading screens.
