Make basil oil by placing dried basil leaves in a mason jar, covering the basil with flavorless vegetable oil, shaking the jar and letting the jar sit for about two weeks to allow the flavors to infuse. Use basil oil to mix with pasta and Parmesan cheese with instructions from a private chef in this free video on basil oil.

  • I cannot believe she just mixed basil and vegetable oil. Olive oil is what any italian person would use and so much better for you.

  • So for pesto, you mean pine nut oil?

    Olive oil?

    Unfiltered motor oil?

You're pretty, photogenic, even comfortable behind the lense, but you're trying too much in too little time.

Hire an editor/director. You're on the right track. No need to polish your delivery, merely the content.

Thanks Sweety. Good tips all the same.

    Kind regards.

  • how would you make pesto sauce with this?

  • What kind of oil do you use? I hope it's Olive oil, because if it's another kind, well, you ruined your pesto!

And usually the pesto (or kind of pesto, without the all ingredients) is made with fresh basil.
