TV tribute to Marc Bolan from 1992. Featuring several interviews with Marc including extended footage from the Russell Harty show. Also features an in depth interview with June Feld. Other contributions from Mickey Finn, Bill Legend, Boy George, Paul King, Jim Lea and Dave Hill of Slade, Steve Priest of Sweet, Rat Scabies of The Damned. Apologies for the poor sound quality - turn the volume up !

i think it is highly exaggerated to say he had a weight problem,he has never seemed much overweight on any pics.ever published.at least not to me.he is beautiful all the same!

Thanks for posting this, Russsmiff1!!! Thrilled to see this documentry again. Had it on VHS years ago until the tape got lost, and I thought I'd never see this programme again!!!

Hi chanteleigh. I really hope he was talking about June but I always have the feeling he was talking about another girl/woman. Marc, IMHO, had hidden depths and there are things we will never know about him. Whoever she was, she was a very lucky lady!!

Hi, pargaluvva! Actually, Soul of My Suit WAS written about June. He wrote the song almost immediately following his final conversation with June. This fact has been mentioned a number of times from different sources, and, in fact, Gloria Jones has even stated that the song revolved around Marc's impending divorce from June (hence one of the lines, "...you're not such a bad girl...".

Hi Dave. I think he was talking about a girl/woman who he couldn't mess around. Marc probably wanted something he couldn't have. I don't think Soul of my Suit is about June or Gloria but someone else. I suppose she knows who she is. Lucky girl!!!
