Written to the Christian tune "Trust and Obey", "When We Walk With Brigid" is a hymn written for Celtic, Wiccan, and inter-faith services celebrating the sabbat of Imbolc, Brigid's Day. The hymn is devotional to Brigid and highlights her as the Irish goddess of healing and poetry (though these are not her only areas of influence!) as well as parts of the Imbolc celebration. The "Rede" mentioned in verse 1 is the Wiccan Rede which says "An' Harm None, do as you will"

The chorus lyrics are:

Brigid the Bride
Stay ever by our side
At the winter days' waning
Send us light and healing.

Winter days' waning here means "as winter comes to a close"
