CHOKE, The official soft drink of the 2004 New York Yankees
-
@joecampisi1 no it was still embarrassing
-
@nitrofreak Yeah you can probably put that to bed considering they won the Cup the following season.
-
@pgame22 nah i think the flyers coming back on the bruins in 2010 was a bigger choke but whatever makes you sleep better at night.
-
@thegamer001 Really? You're bringing up the one time they ever got one over on the Yankees and THAT is an epic fail? You're easily impressed, sir.

All I gotta say. Dustin Pedroia is amazing. Great fielder, great hitter. can't argue with that. My top three second basemans are 1. Dustin Pedroia 2. Ian Kinsler 3. Chase Utley. Robinson Cano is a horrible fielder. thats why hes never gotten 1 award. he hits for one year and thats considered the best ? and he also had alot of strikeouts.

@deutschland08fn The Indians certainly were trash in the final three games of this series. You got that right.
-
@NYYankees09champs Meh, even Boston sports reporters agree that Cano is a better 2nd baseman.
-
@NYerintransit Whatever both the Indians and the Yankees are grade A trash
-
Fuck the Yankees. Highest paid ball club and still aren't very consistent. Buy players who love the game and not so much as the money. That's how you build a team. Thumbs up if you agree.
The Indians lost this series in a way that made the 2004 ALCS look less extreme. It wasn't that they lost after building a 3-1 lead. It was that got outscored 30-5 in those last three games.
Say what you will about the Yankees. Each of the four games they lost in the 2004 ALCS were more competitive than the pathetic effort Cleveland put forth in 2007.
