I thought this would be a fun concept since the M28-76 is the most accurate Mosin rifle you can buy and use right out of the box. Also the fact that the Finnish rifle has about $2000 worth of stuff on it... ;)

  • 100 yards I assume?

  • @dawnmarko1 All group;s in my videos are fired from 100 yards unless otherwise noted.

  • Nice to see someone put together some real match quality rounds for a quality 54R rifle. I love my Finn M39 and ruski M44 but I hate my 91/30.

  • @762gunr Why the glorious hating of the m91 comrade?

  • @EazyaccessMETV wait were you referring to his sporter?

  • @EazyaccessMETV 91/30 90 dollars (normally bad condition ones are terrible like maybe 3 to moa on a good day 1.5 or 2 this is a marksmans rifle it's going to be under 1.5

  • I just got one of these rifles, m28/76, and I want to know how you suggest that I slug the barrel? You mention that you shot bullets that measured .311. My rifle has a built date on the barrel of 1968. I tried to cycle some Prvi Partizan 7.62x54R with 150 gr. soft point boat tails and 2 of the bullets stuck in the chamber when I extracted the round from the gun spilling powder into the action. I have shot said rounds at deer with excellent results from a M39 that I built up like yours.

  • Cool, looks abit like the Valmet made 7.62 Tkiv 85 which was a M-Nagant based Sniper rifle made for the finnish defence forces, that was designed in the late eighties like the name would suggest. Although it was quite short lived, since it's being phased out by the .338 Sako Trg42.

  • Thanks I enjoyed. it is nice to see someone doing something with these old workhorses

  • Thanks for posting and sharing your Fin M28/76 and your custom Mosin Nagant Sporter. You have obviously proved that if you put your mind to it and do your homework you can get an accurize any Mosin Nagant vs a simple standard rifle. I really enjoy your videos and that you show the progress of your work and the end results.

  • On the other video, I saw that you are working in gun shop or have a friend there.

Do you sell, these sportalized mosin?

If so, could you tell me how to contact you?

sorry for asking this king of question on comment. Thank you.

  • I thought m28's had .308 bores?

  • Based on this video of Yours (this very one here), could it be You have a tendency to lean yourself (along with the stock) a bit on the right side.

I'm not saying at all it's bad, on the contrary. However, when facing a success by a shot (I guess You know what I mean here), how about keeping it even more cool, along with keeping the rifle and scope more vertical.

I won't mind at all if You'd like to argue. :)

  • Plz post the vids of the surplus round at the 700-1000yrds that and which rounds u use would be awesome they both look like fun to shot, I'm looking into buying the m28-76...I can only find them at centerfiresytems(dot)com, where did you get yours? and was how the quality of the rifle? because I'm scared to invest the money into one that I cant inspect with my own hands and eyes. Thanks!
