  • Thanks guys for all your comments. I hope all these Waring tunes can be shared to all our kids and grandkids again and carry on the joy of these songs

  • Would Someone Please Upload Rudolph The Rednose Reindeer. Last time I heard it was when I was about 4 years old. Iremember this album cover very well, and I remember alot of The Words (Rudolph! Look Out For That Tree!)

  • @fenderbender534

I just loaded up Rudolph and two other good ones from this Fred Waring album for you. I think the other two will bring back those good memories also.

  • I do have all the music to that album. I too think it's one of the best Christmas albums. Heard it as a kid about 40 years ago but that album has been long gone. About 6 years ago I finally got a hold of all the music. I'll see if I can put more on youtube and let you know.

  • Always liked this Norman Rockwell cover, too!

  • I grew up with this album, and it means Christmas to me, almost as much as the Robert Shaw Chorale Christmas Hymns and Carols! And your copy of it is in MUCH better shape than mine. I also had a Christmas album -- don't remember if it was Waring or not -- with such obscure songs on it as "The Little Christmas Stocking with the Hole in the Toe" and "Mixie Pixie" and "Eighteen Cents" -- all great songs! Anyone know of that one? Had Santa flying his sleigh across the album cover.

  • Christmas Magic - is available on CD ( double set) released in 1994 - but it is rare and expensive - Amazon had one copy for $159.00 today. I won mine in a bid on EBAY a few years ago. Not this version of jingle bells but you get Ring those Christmas Bells, The night before Christmas and The Meaning of Christmas all in one set. Worth the price so say my memories..

  • We have this album in my parents' Christmas album collection, which they bought back in the mid 60's, and to this day, I have always cracked up with the cha-cha music starts, and the way the people are singing during that section of the tune. My mom hated this album, and I don't much care for it, either, but between this tune and Rudolph, it is hilarious!

  • What a jingle, makes me tingle!

  • Do you have Fred's version of Silver Bells? I can't find it anywhere! When I was little, my folks had a record album of Christmas songs by his Pennsylvanians and Nat King Cole. This was the first time I had ever heard Silver Bells, so when I hear all the other versions I am disappointed because they're all so slow! I love Fred's snappy quick version and the chorus singing "and the silver bells go ring-a-ling". As I said before I can't find it anywhere now! If you have it, please upload it.

  • Thanks so much for these Waring tunes! They bring back so many memories! I too would love to listen to the whole album. Very much appreciated!

  • Took me a long time to get back, but thank you for filling my request. I sent the link to my older brother and sister and Mother. Blast from the past. They don't play this stuff on the radio (what a shame).
