I was asking about the army cause I saw a uniform that looked a bit more like this in a recent commercial. But I couldn't see enough of it.

@sangtawon I wasn't serious about disbanding it, it was sarcasm about going back to their heritage and going back in history. Army doesn't wear anything like this now, but I liked their move to the blues, like the Continental Army and Union Army wore. Much better than the green class A's

@realhistory1 I wouldn't go as far as saying disband the AF and merge it back with army... But I do like the idea of going back to tradition. Just... not that far lol.
It was a prototype. They could have made some modifications to make it look better.

@msalak87 Marines have always had tall stiff collars, which were reinforced with leather during the American Revolution, hence "Leatherneck". This style doesn't predate anything. The Army switched to a similar style long ago and has since moved on. The Marines have always worn a high collar and always will. This looks like a cheap Chinese knock-off and was a terrible idea. If they want to go back to old times, disband the air force and merge it with the Army again, just wear their uniforms.

They look great and a great branch like the U.S. Air Force deserves a great look.
Retired Army here, and the AF has saved my bacon more times than I can count!
