  • Its the Coen Brothers so ill probaly hate it but its Sam Raimi so i probaly love it. 50/50

  • Am I the only one that hated Jennifer Jason Leigh in this?? Her voice was super annoying. And yes I realize she was trying to emulate actresses from that era but if you listen to them they actually talked at an even pace rather than the high pitched verbal diarrhea that came out of Jennifer Jason Leigh's mouth!! She single-handedly ruined this film and the reason why it flopped at the box office!

  • @OddOneOut665

Exactly my thoughts! Utopical atmosphere, sad irony and comical scenes. Endings are different, though.

  • I need to watch this movie, luckily it's streaming on Netflix. Campbell said that Jennifer Jason Leigh was brilliant and working with her he was once again nervous as he was when he first started appearing in films. That's pretty wicked.

  • totally underrated movie

  • @Elliotspeck I agree, this Coen-bros movie is very underrated. I think it's just because it was such an economic failure that no one took notice.

  • I'm drinking bad coffee that smells and tastes just like and old model train set I used to play with when his movie came out. I'll always remember my first Coen film I saw in the theater. Nothing could be more beautiful.

  • For some reason, this film always felt like this was America's response to "Brazil" (The 1985 Terry Gilliam film). ;)

  • i miss video cassettes :(

  • Holy crap, they showed the hula-hoop in the trailer!
