Mike Aitken back on his bike after 5 months rehab

After nearly 5 months of rehab since his severe head injury and resulting paralysis on the right side of his body, BMX Rider Mike Aitken has decided to take the next step and get back on his bike.

While he still has work to do to get back to riding like he did before, the smile on his face says it all.

Three week coma, lost the feeling in his right side, brain injury, broken jaw, broken eye socket, broken sinuses, damaged vision and he had to re-learn how to balance... And yet he can still beat the shit out of me on a bmx? I should just get a scooter.
