Thank you my great lawyer..my son is also a corporate lawyer . The thing that I don't agree with you is the importance you gave for removing what they call precancerous polyps.90% of colonoscopic procedures and its complications can be avoided if we follow the UK health system where stool DNA replace colonoscopy for average risk people. Thanks for your considerations. This woman he is talking about was a normal healthy woman why she has to go through all of that ??Money and medical mafia makes you think it is OK to die to see if you have this disease or not .colonoscopy is the biggest lie in medical practice used as screening is a crime.

only 5 % of those people doing colonoscopy now may benefit the high risk groups otherwise they will die for nothing..this is an evil practice dominated my money hungry doctors

Mr. Lawyer colonoscopy will never prevent a cancer that is not there in 95% of average risk populations. The cancer is not there!only high risk which may be %% of colonoscopy will benefit from it some times.

I have the same problems these suckers are killing us with unnecessary manipulations
I'd like to know if the doctor should be able to know that the perforation occurred immediately ?? or should the patient go back home first & start to complain of abdominal pain , fever ..etc , so the doctor know there was a perforation !!!

@mememesmile In the best circumstances, the doctor will recognize that the time of the procedure if perforation occurred. However, not all perforations are readily visible. In that instance, the patient will likely be discharged home and the patient should make complaints to the doctor or go to the emergency room immediately if the pain appears to be significant or out of the ordinary.

could you be willing to represent me? after my colonoscopy at Stanford hospital I had what happened to this woman but instead of acute symptoms like this woman I had the chronic symptoms. Over the last 2 years all these symptoms showed up in me and I am now dying from complications of screening colonoscopy for average risk person.

Hi Monmon68,
I'm sorry to learn of your troubles. I only practice law in New York, and therefore could not help you. You need to contact an attorney near you to get a legal opinion about the facts in your case. I wish you the best of health.
