Walter Horton, better known as Big Walter Horton or Walter "Shakey" Horton, (April 6, 1917 -- December 8, 1981) was an American blues harmonica player. A quiet, unassuming and essentially shy man, Horton is remembered as one of the premier harmonica players in the history of blues. Willie Dixon once called Horton "the best harmonica player I ever heard."
This is my favorite Big Walter video of all time. I can't count the number of times I've listened to it and still blows me away! Thanks for posting.

lil walter jacobs would steal licks from shakey and claim indignation when later confronted. Big Walter's probably the best musician Muddy Waters ever fired.

@Horwellston Oh, yeah, also.. It's hard for me to tell, and I can only speak from personal experience.. but I think people listening hear hand warbles a bit more than the player.
