  • The tiles are Porcelain 3/8" thick and they are smooth. One of those modern looking ones

    It should cut those, some tile cutters are better than others so perhaps look at a better model- or you could try the new blade first

  • Thanks for the video. How often should I change the blade? Is there a certain amount of pressure needed because my tiles keep splitting off to the side?

    The blades normally last a long time, but if it is blunt you should change it.

    Are the tiles smooth or textured?

    How thick are the tiles?

  • thank you!! this was a great video. I am about toa ttempt to use a tile cutter in my own home now.. very helpful just to see it in action with larger tiles and different tiles
