Patrick Tambay rolls his Lola towards the end of the race. Good commentary by Clive James.

  • I totally agree, he only did those 3 and in my opinion they're the best ones!

  • Yeah he should. My favourite F1 season reviews are 82, 84 and 86 - all season reviews he commentated on. The ones today are a bit sterile!

  • Yeah you're right i'd never noticed it was Brundle! He didn't have much luck with cars bouncing off his head, he also had a bad crash in Brazil in 94 when Verstappen decided flip over him!

  • It was the last F1 race for de Angelis:-(

  • Clive James should have replaced Murray Walker when he retired. Can you imagine 2 hours every other week of this kind of commentary - brilliant!!

  • @GDH1981 couldn't agree more, they simply wouldn't allow such opinionated and ironic commentary these days

  • @F1fanTK Patrick would be obstructing the Portier curve xDD

  • Clive James is so funny, always love his humour.

  • Well, he is actually Australian....

  • Those people would have been fucked

  • DO A BARRER ROLL!!!

  • commentator is fucking awesome, dripping in British sarcasm

  • "He was lucky not to go over the barriers to one of the sea-front bars where he would have been offered a drink but might have had trouble holding it steady"

Clive James - lmao! Genius!! :P

  • he was lucky not to go over the barrier and down to one of the seafront bars where he would of been offered a drink but might of had trouble holding it steady, lol

  • What a crash, reminiscent of Gugelmin's accident with Carpentier in Detroit.
