Saw the Beach Boys in 1962 -- before their first song showed up on radio. They played at Belmont Park, a San Diego amusement park and a couple of my junior high school friends who were surfers said we had to hear these guys from LA. My first concert and maybe the most memorable almost 50 years later.

I remember seeing this video on the BBC television show,"Top Of The Pops." That was back in the spring of 1966. The song still sounds as fresh today as it did then.

Prefiero cerrar los ojos y escucharles cantar esta preciosa canción, que verles haciendo tonterías. El video desmerece de mis recuerdos.

um, that's Hal Blaine on drums! Hal Roach was the man behind the Little Rascals.

Al Jardine has huge feet for such a small guy! yum

Where's Dennis?
