@megamanj2004X In 1993, Scrabble came back to NBC, and then it would go bye bye after several months, same way with Scattergories, later on Caesar's Challenge would replace Scrabble, and then that would hit the dust! As I said before, thank goodness we have youtube, otherwise we would have nothing!
@tbone24100 Strange thing was NBC originally was gonna can both RG shows in March of '89. Scrabble was spared for another year but Sale was the one that got the ax. Then in March of 1990, the 1980s Scrabble was finally axed. NBC tried w/ LMaD w/ Bob Hilton, but that was a disaster since Monty Hall had to host the rest of the run and Classic Concentration was axed 2 years later, though it was in reruns til' late 1993.
NBC lost Super Password and Sale of the Century on 3/24/89, then Wheel got canned in the summer of '89, only to defect to CBS for about a 1 and a half (NBC would eventually regain daytime Wheel in January of '91 and ran it for 8 more months until the fall of '91) and NBC also canned the Vicki Lawrence version of Win, Lose or Draw in the fall of '89 as well.
Mitt, trust me, you don't want to see "Temptation". It was so bad, that the station that carried it in Charlotte, NC dropped it early in its run. Even though the superstation TBS from Atlanta carried it, the show only got a 0.5 rating in the Nielsens for most of the run. If you want, you could read the Wikipedia article to see how they messed up a perfectly good classic show. It was hosted by Rossi Morreale.
No, that's okay, Mitt. This information is really interesting. I was only born in 1985. I found some of these shows to be interesting. The only time I saw reruns of these shows were when I visited my grandma in Minnesota, because I live in Canada. I remember seeing "Scrabble", but I didn't fully understand it at the time. It's just too bad the recent version of "Temptation" ended up being crap. I could barely stand to watch one episode.

LOL! I never saw Temptation. Thanks for your comments, I'm happy to know there are still so many fans of our old shows.
