Don Moy (My Don) Anatoly Sofronov

A Soviet-era patriotic song is matched with 19th century Russian art of rural scenes and peasants. The Russian Cossacks were settled from the banks of the Ussuri in the Dalny Vostok to the shores of the Black Sea in the Kuban. They served in all the wars of the rodina, being in the vanguard of the advance upon Paris and the gruelling march across the Det Pak Dala. These are my ancestors, and I can stand upright because of their service to faith, tsar, and motherland. Thank you!
