Hey i need help aswell i have the same problem underclassdamnriot seems to be having....it all started when i reinstalled home editon with the help of Enfoloads video on how to reinstall xp( if it helps) press start>windows update and to my suprise no... internet help..

dude i'm still having a problem, i bought a second hand DELL laptop without it's driver CD, I reformatted it because of viruses, After reinstalling the windows xp, i can no longer use an internet, there's no sound and no video, please help me what to do and when to download it's driver CD, thanks

After installing Windows on a Dell, important to install the Notebook System software and the Chipset driver before any of the others. The CD/DVD section is firmware and only needs to be used if the drive is having problems, otherwise Windows installs its own drivers to run them automatically. BIOS updates are best only run if the BIOS update is marked urgent or is needed to fix a problem.
