I learned that foot binding started with a dancer with small feet that the emperor adored, and he had her dance on a lotus shaped stage. Other women saw that the small feet brought attraction from men. It was something men found attractive and sensual, the last of the women with bound feet still have husbands who find them attractive

I'm content with my size ten ladies foot! I'm sure women in China are very glad this practice has been abandoned.

I wouldn't if the people of the future stopped using braces than they must have some perfect looking teeth; they'd probably feel pity towards those who needed it.

my feet is simliar but the 4 toes is not like this. it is regular feet but have a curve so i couldnt wear any heels or flat at all

but bound feet was erotic because men could do sexual things with them,
also it served rank, a high class woman with bound feet could marry rich, high class men and bring honor,... I don't have much of the reason or why they did it...I'm still learning

It was highly desirable in those times. The men wanted women with dainty feet and women wanted dainty feet to have a better chance of getting married off. Unbound feet were associated with servants.
