Hey me i got a 28 inch vertical i need like 6-8 inches to dunk how long will it take me to get them if i do this 3 times a day?

@luissm016 Impossible to say. At 3x per week you might go backwards from overdoing it. I would look at putting in 3 solid sessions per week and then resting up the other days.

5 reps per set is a good number for most jumping drills. It is enough to provide stimulus, not so much as to take away from the intensity of the effort.

if i gain only 4 inches in a year imma be pissed

@grantd272 If you only gained 4 inches and your vertical was 20 inches then yes, you should be. But if your vertticla went from 42 inches to 46 you would probably consider that an awesome result.

do you do this excercises every day or every other day? and how long will it take me to get at least 4 inches

@luissm016 2-3 times per week is enough work with a weight vest. 4 inches of jump gains will take a different amount of time for different people. If you already have a 35 inch vertical getting to 39 inches could take 6-12 months, or more. If you have a 15 inch vertical it could take 2-4 weeks. There are too many variables to make predicitions
