The story is very relevant to our contemporary world and to today's news reporting and the media world (seriousness of journalism and news publishing, politics and private war, concept of friendship ). And the educative and cultural background is very informative: it's all about the media world, journalism mostly - and the news about poltics, and 'celebrities' ie personal matters, and the politics...- Russell Crowe plays a Journalist, so does Rachel McAdams, and Dame Helen Mirren plays the woman in charge of news in a 'fictional' major newspaper... A must-see classic ! A movie made for all ages and all times , made to remain a CLASSIC for ever -as part of our culture! ... no one can stay unmoved by this gripping and very touching story! I was so touch, that just when the film finished... I was to start to cry or nearly! as I was so moved. Not so many film touch you anymore. This one does!... The suspensis so intense, it grabbs your attention from start till the very end. However all your emotions are being directed towards 'beauty'. Beauty may be the heart of this film, and though also a concept, it can become reallity, as seen here, specially when you experiment it, it no more just a concept, but as in a real life, ie that's why movies are here for !
