Its obvious that they've either 1.come for the one thing our Earth is rich with, water. or 2. the giant meteor that killed off the dinosaurs and crashed near Mexico carried with it aliens or alien tech and they are looking for it.
hmmmm.... never really thought about that second one. that does seem to be plausible, but if they were only looking for that UFO, why aren't they looking fr ones that have been shot down, or crashed, or, in the case of russia, when one UFO shot down another, but your theory really does seem plausible. they are always around southern Texas and Mexico, south america, but yes, i believe it could be the reason
I however think that aliens will intervene before we, as a relatively technologically primitive species, can destroy this life-rich planet. If they're watching I don't think they'll just sit idly by.
The funny thing about being an athiest is that you aren't convinced that other people who don't hold your beliefs are going to burn in eternal damnation... that seems to be an important difference. Ha ha! Kind of makes you think that a belief system like that may be a little outdated.
I'm from Canada, and I know that the Northern Lights can do crazy things. They can look like streaks and they can look like dots. I can only imagine that if the Aurora drifted to Texas that it would look odd.
I'm in Montana just below you and we barely get 'em here. The Auroras never reach down that far and cause such shapes, the plasma dissipates and loses charge before getting to far.
