Famous scene from the mini-series Roots based on the book by Alex Haley. Kunta has been captured after his escape and is finally broken by force by the overseer. He is given his new name which destroys the last relics of his homeland that he will never see again. Yet hope still remains, for us all.

To these blacks born in the 90s and up, I ain't even white, and I am not racist, but I can't stand how some black people think they are being racist against all the time, when they were born in the 90s.....
