@rmilwid Before making a smartass comment and making an idiot out of yourself, use common sense..no offense. The whole process was super slow. They had to stop, sometimes for hours & hours at a time,to support bridges they crossed using compex engineering. They had stop to remove and replace electrical wires/poles(hours there too). They even had to build a bridge over a stream 'cause the existing bridge wouldn't hold the weight. They had to stop every night to sleep: things you wouldn't think of :)

Why is the operator positioned in the back? With a load that large, how can he see where he is going?
gaxxag 11 months ago
@gaxxag There were 2 operators sitting in the back and 1 sitting in the front too (there's a control area for a 2nd operator to sit in the front also). My guess is that this was one of the easier parts of the trip for them, so they only had one operator in the fron (?) I'm not sure though. I bet when they come to a big bend or corner in a road they have all 4 operators on that thing. I think all the operators can communicate w/ each other somehow too. Like "STOP, DON'T HIT THE SQUIRREL" jk :)
