  • If the reporter is talking state sales taxes, OK pays 4.5%, but three states pay none and probably 1/2 dozen more pay less in sale taxes. OK beer tax is rather high. In state income taxes, 6 states do not impose these taxes but OK does. In Federal taxes, it's determined by your income. Bottom line the reporter is an doesn't have a clue. Besides, these Tea Parties have as much to do with taxes as they do with the increasing threat to our liberties with the ever expanding government.

  • Quincy, there are many other taxes besides state sales tax and beer tax. When you add them all up Oklahoma has one of the the lowest overall tax burdens - usually in the top 5 lowest burdens. Do the google, you will see.

  • Uh could you point to the "smear" and satanic lies? I said "If you are a good Christian read the Bible and see what it says about how people should treat the poor - then look at how you actually do." So the question is how do you stack up to what the Bible says concerning what a person should do with their money to help the poor?

  • Taxes are less now for everyone making less than 250K. Taxes are 10% less than under Reagan. Taxes in the USA are less than almost every other industrialized country. No one likes taxes - we all would like more for less - having a safe, working, caring society requires a progressive tax system. If you are a good Christian read the Bible and see what it says about how people should treat the poor - then look at how you actually do.

  • Yes, that is what I wrote. All true.

  • That's because they are reading from the same script and it's all designed to weaken and divide the public into factions fighting each other instead of uniting against the real problems facing America today. Glover is a late commer to politics that is mentally and emotionally 'invested' in the hype of change and hope and all the mass excitement of that make believe movement. People don't like their happy bubbles being burst and Glover is desperately defending his false bubble.

  • Timothy McVeigh was a neo-facist and a terrorist peice of shit (read The Turner Diaries, people like McVeigh want to violently establish an all-white socialist dystopian state). The tea partiers are anti-facist and assembled peacefully, and want to peacefully revert back to limited government through the political process. If you can't make the distinction, you need help.

  • @eastofakron2 I agree. You can't equate all of them to a terrorist, even if it is incredibly common to see signs at teabagger rallies equating Obama to Osama bin Laden and terrorism. That is a truly despicable thing to see, and we shouldn't stoop to that level, you're totally right. Many of these people are not violent. But a lot of them are very, very angry, even if they can't give you a specific reason for it when you ask. And their anger-fueled rhetoric could cause someone to commit violence.

  • Ok, this guy is not Timothy McVeigh. I'm sure there is a growing sentiment among teabaggers and a lot of overly passionate rhetoric that might lead someone to commit violence in some way against the government. I could honestly see that. But it isn't this guy. That said, the video clearly shows that these people don't have a fucking clue what they're protesting. Bush spent an incredible amount of cash, and you never saw this kind of nation wide movement based on anger. I fucking wonder why.

  • You just made a statement at somebody and questioned them on it's logic, that's a stupid thing to do.I hate this crap of "us Vs the tea party" because it turns into a battle against somebody you intended intend on. Try and change what problems you want, and let other people fix what they want, or at least try to.

  • if tim mcveigh hads balls he would;'ve shot the women and children fleeing the murrah building the way they shot the women and children trying to flee the fire at waco

  • the reporter is true fucking piece of shit. To associate Tim Mc. to tea party goers and connect voicing your opinion to domestic terrorism is just wrong. Its like saying I'm an atheist, christin or muslim and some scumbag who was also a muslim, christain, or atheist just raped a woman so you are all connected.

  • USA goverment collects taxes to bomb and kill and conquer poor and defensless.

  • @jongery Inflation is negative taxes ,are the lowest they been in years, and anyone that heard Obama was spending 200,000,000 bucks at day and even remotely believed it a second should burn there High school diploma

  • @KingSolomon1611 If you want to prevent abortions fund day care, sex ed pell grants and vote Democratic

  • How many of the attendees are getting checks from the The VA or social security or some other government program? I say get the Government out of the your life And don't cash your EIC check next April
