This is the ideal tune for when we turn on the central heating in October. I found myself humming it and didn't know why. Then I realised why: "The Heat Is On"... (true) (lol tolhurst)

@RuneTurtleBakke Listen to "On the Run" and "The Heat is On" back-to-back. They have the same melody, but the Manfred Mann song is in a minor key. They are both credited to Florrie Palmer. And they both have a refrain that says "The Heat is On." Seems like Palmer wrote the song that was a hit for Noosha Fox (1979), Mann rewrote the lyrics and called it "On the Run" (1980), and then Agnetha covered the original single in 1983. It happens!

I directed this video in 1983. I remember that we worked in a public bath in Stockholm (Centralbadet) for two nights when nobody was around.
After the last shot Agnetha fell into the water and we could not shoot any more (her hair got all wet)!.
Dancers are Blossom Tainton and a friend.
Agnetha was easy to work with but I remember that when we had lunch she didn´t want shrimp that had been in a glass jar. She only ate fresch shrimp!

It is also basically a cover of Manfred Mann's Earth Band's "On The Run." Yes, great song.
