Gordon Brown is AWESOME!

Is it normal to sob at this speech even past a year onwards? He was one of the greatest Prime Ministers this country will ever have.

I can't belive how many schools and collages have been build in North Manchester. Not to mention sports centres and sure-start centres. I am not looking forward to seeing these great new inspiring projects with boards on the windows which I know will happen in the not to distant future.
History repeats itself. Vote Tory the less well off suffer.
Gordon will be miss by me and many who may never know it.

I also cried when Gordon went and I was a 34 year old man who doesn't cry at funerals.
When I was a school I had to change schools because of closures.I live in Manchester not a small village with to few pupils. The classrooms were war-zones and learning was way down the list of priorities. I don't blame the teachers at all, they really should have had zoo keepers or prison wardens in that place and this was one of Manchester's best schools.

@jprbritishcritic That's the thing, people who defected to Lib Dems from Labour now regret what they have done as it has just shooed the Tories into No.10
When Cameron starts to get underway with his cuts, people will regret not getting out there and voting Labour on May 6th to keep them out.
We're just lucky they never got a majority, may God have helped us if they did...
Gordon, please come back and save Britain from that scumbag poser Cameron!!

We have lost this man for Cameron/Clegg!! The rest of the world must be laughing at us .

This was such a commanding, powerful and rousing speech. If only he could have produced something like that during the campaign.
I hope that the leadership contest will really bring about a renewal of labour. Pretty much everyone else has been short changed by the coalition.

"By the strength of our common endeavour, we achieve more than we achieve alone"
That's a quote from the new Clause IV which Blair wrote in '95 if I'm not mistaken.
Bring back the old Clause IV I reckon.
I am proud to have joined a Labour party under the leadership of Gordon Brown, It's a shame that things have played out this way. Great speech from a great man.
